You have a story to tell.

Possibly several.
Some of them may still require therapy.
But at least one of them just might make a fantastic TV comedy series.

As I always say, "it's all material, baby"... but the truth is, having a funny, painful, weird, wildly specific life does not automatically mean you know how to turn it into a series premise.

That is where my free 5-Day Personal TV Comedy Series Premise Creation Challenge comes in. I’ll help you take the ickiest and most compelling raw material from your life and show you how to shape it into a comedy premise with potential — even if you are brand new to screenwriting.

My original process has already served hundreds of writers, and for the first time ever, to celebrate approaching 25,000 subscribers, I will be offering this Challenge FREE on my YouTube Channel @schticktoscript from May 11 to May 15th, 2026.

A new video will drop in the LIVE tab at 12:01am every day, with instructions on that day's challenge.

Day 1 will take you a full hour to execute (and is the only heavy day with real self-reflection involved, because great comedy is grounded in truth and pain), but if you can get through it, it will serve you so well and the rest of your ideation will be smooth sailing.

The remaining challenges will take 30 minutes a day - that's it.

So if you’ve been walking around thinking,
“Honestly, my life is too ridiculous not to be a series,” you are in the right place.

Now let’s find the angle on your truth that you can spin into comedy gold.

And if you want a deeper layer of coaching from me on how trauma morphs beautifully into comedy, what the industry requires of writers, and a seat at the private final presentation Zoom, consider joining me and bunch of other comedy brains inside The Breakthrough Accelerator Lab during the Challenge week.

WHAT YOU GET IN THE LAB

DAILY WORKSHEETS for each exercise

A BONUS GUIDE on the exact steps in my writing process to go from premise to final script

A BONUS GUIDE on cracking your pilot story

ACCOUNTABILITY to show up & do the work

A DAILY GROUP ZOOM CALL WITH YOUR FELLOW COMEDY WRITERS at 5pm EST where I can go deeper into each step & answer your questions (with replays if you cannot attend live)

LAB MEMBERS GET FIRST DIBS ON THE 30 AVAILABLE PRESENTATION SPOTS before I open them up to the general YouTube audience

WHETHER YOU SECURE A SPOT TO PRESENT A PREMISE OR NOT, YOU GET AN INVITATION TO ATTEND THE FINAL PRESENTATION ZOOM

On Saturday, May 16th at 4pm EST, up to thirty people will be able to present their premises on a private Zoom call with Daniela and a guest judge.

Lab Members get first dibs on securing one of those contest spots before they are offered to the YouTube audience. Even if you don't secure a presentation spot, if you are in the Lab, you are guaranteed an invite to that Zoom where you can experience the results others achieved from the Challenge.

The winner of the TV Challenge Presentation Zoom will receive a free spot in my From Schtick to Script TV Comedy Series Pilot Writing Program (a $397 US value), a year of Idea Jams, and social media glory!

Even if you choose not to present on our private Zoom call, attending that session is well worth the cost of the Lab. It's always incredible to hear what comedy we can mine from our lives and how it can be reframed for television.

Whether you join me on YouTube or in the Lab, I'm looking forward to inspiring you!
