COMEDY FEATURE FILM PREMISE CREATION CHALLENGE
Hello! Do you love writing but get tripped up on the process of coming up with the original premise for your movie? Luckily, you have landed on the registration page for my five-day workshop which was designed to help you tackle exactly that.
The 5-Day Comedy Feature Film Premise Creation Challenge involves one thirty minute exercise a day, and is designed to lead you to at least one personal, marketable and funny premise for a comedy feature film by the Friday.
Challengers will get a video a day with instructions and worksheets posted every day between Monday and Friday.
You can then book a 10-minute Zoom with Challenge creator Daniela Saioni to present your premise(s), ask questions or generally idea test your results.
This Challenge, along with the 5-DAY PERSONAL TV COMEDY SERIES PREMISE CREATION CHALLENGE, has consistently garnered gamechanging results for the writers, so everyone is a winner, because you will get much closer to landing on a premise you are excited to write.

ABOUT THE CHALLENGE CREATOR
Daniela Saioni is a multi-award-winning comedy screenwriter whose stand-up has been described as "smart and subversive". After a long career working for some of the cream of the comedy directing crop, her passion for comedy and filmmaking led her to start training comedians and laypeople alike in the art of comedy screenwriting in 2012.
Her fast-track methodology, jokewriting skills and the success of her students have led her to become an in-demand script consultant and punch-up artist. As a screenwriter, she has won numerous awards and honours, including the 9 laurels you see below for her last feature film script, Jiyan, based on a story by filmmaker Mazdak Taebi..
A veteran script supervisor on major motion pictures and TV series (Shazam!, A Simple Favor, Suits, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Work It ), her talents are varied but her mission is singular: change the world, one laugh at a time.

The 5 day challenge was a refreshing experience for me, everyday there was a little task which took just the right amount of time from my day and what i liked was that it really allowed me to go inwards and explore things I had overlooked before. It allowed me to connect with myself as a writer. This is what I love about the way Daniela teaches writing. She helps you get to a place which is raw and feels very real and writing from there feels right. During this stressful time, I was unable to get back to writing for many weeks.
I started working on the challenge and it was so exciting, it kicked me out of my funk and I felt inspired, as I always do with Daniela's courses. The challenge kept me going and every day the tasks were quite intriguing and required a lot of self-reflection. It was such an enjoyable process, and it opened up many stories in my mind.
